In addition to our book donation, literacy programs, and library construction, we are expanding our impact by building a water well and toilets in rural, underprivileged schools. Please watch the video for more information.
We are a small passionate team of people who strive to promote literacy year-round in under-resourced areas of Africa. We are a diverse group of men and women of all nationalities and walks of life. We are accountants, businessmen, businesswomen, college professors, executives, homemakers, school teachers, graduate, undergraduate, high school and middle school students, all committed to making a difference in the lives of children.
Our main focus is education. We run solely on the aid of our passionate volunteers eager to plant the Seeds of Knowledge. Although our roots are grounded in Benin , it is because of our dedicated volunteers that we have been able to successfully spread SOW seeds in Ethiopia, Ivory Coast and Senegal.
We strive to provide educational opportunities for under-served children through our book donation (textbooks/activity books/supplementary reading materials, school supplies), library construction, and literacy programs.
We are a 501 (c) 3 organization committed to supporting literacy and the educational needs of under-served school children. By partnering with parents, teachers, and local school officials in under-resourced rural areas we accomplish our mission through our:
Book Donation Program
Textbooks/activity books/Supplementary reading materials donation
School supplies/uniforms donation
Library Construction/Literacy Programs
Build modest school libraries (either from scratch or by refurbishing older existing structures)
Implement reading hour and summer academic programs
